Anderson Longmore and Higham (AL&H), a well established West Sussex law firm with offices in Petworth, Storrington and Billingshurst is delighted to announce that it is opening a new office in the heart of Chichester on 1 November 2010.
The new office is at 38 Southgate, Chichester, conveniently situated near to the city’s railway and bus stations, nearby carparks and the Chichester Combined Court Centre. The office will offer the same range of legal services as the firm’s existing offices, to include residential and commercial property, divorce and family law and wills and probate work.
The new Chichester office will concentrate in particular on the provision of a specialist family law service, under the direction of Edward Cooke. Edward has recently joined AL&H as a Partner and Head of our Family Law Department and is responsible for managing the firm’s family law service both in Chichester and all the existing offices.
Whilst the office is conveniently located next door to the city’s courts, Edward is keen to promote alternative methods of resolving family disputes. As such, he is developing a practice encompassing not only court-based resolution, but also collaborative law. Edward is an Accredited Specialist with Resolution, the nationwide organisation of family lawyers committed to resolving family disputes in a conciliatory and constructive manner.
Edward will be working at the Chichester office with Will Stisted, a Partner with the firm since 2005, who will handle both residential and commercial property work from Chichester.
